COVID-19

The top priority here in Japan is to prevent the new corona virus, named COVID-19, from spreading. So, last Friday, Japan PM, Abe has declared that school would be closed from March 2 for the time being.

My three kids are happy because they do not have to go to school, which would keep my wife busier. As far as I am concerned, this condition is unlikely to make me busy as a doctor in a major hospital because almost all conferences and meetings are being cancelled.

At first, I thought the outbreak would end soon, but the outbreak is going worse all over the world. It seems like the COVID-19 is somehow different from SARS or MARS.

I am really looking forward to the day when I could say, "the worst is over and the end is yet to come."

Koba makes it.

The puzzle was very simple. All you had to do was to find the same dog as the sample shown in the left upper corner in the right picture.

The problem was there were tons of dogs resembling the sample dog that had a unique pattern in its tail. I thought that it would not take a while to find it when I started trying. However, I failed on that although I had made every endeavour over a period of one year.

To my big surprise, my elder son, 12 years of age, DID it within 10 minute. What an ability you have. Fantabulous, KOBA!

I won't forget that moment you told me in a calm tone, "Dad, Here is the dog."

The Rise of Skywalker

My daughter and I have been excited with Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker. What a movie!

We watched the final one of the saga twice, next day after its release and the next week. The conditions we had were perfect, both of which were at IMAX; one was 2D (upper pictures) and the other was 3D (lower pictures). I cannot decide which is better. I would say that both conditions were awesome.

It has been more than 4 decades since I say the first one, Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, when I was a 6th grader at elementary school. The long story has finally finished with an unexpected and wonderful ending.

To my surprise, my daughter, 15-year-old, has been recently into Star Wars series. It seems like that her favorite characters include Anakin Skywalker and Poe Dameron, who are young, tough, and nice-looking guys.

Next day after the second watch of Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker, we enjoyed Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, again!

College

This spring, my son got into college, Morinomiya University of Medical Sciences, where he has been learning about medicine to become a medical technician.

The other day, I took a day off and visited the collage with my wife. It was fairly compact and very friendly. Also, I was surprised to see a lot of energies of the youth.

We are not sure as his parents whether it was a good choice for his future to advise him to go there, although it seems like he has been enjoying college life.

Our hope is that Yuto would be satisfied with being a medical technician as a life-long career not only to make ends meet but also to be worth pursuing.

Yuto and I go Suzuka circuit for F1 racing

It took more than three hours from leaving home to sitting the seat, but it was a really fun trip.

Looking back, I was really into F1 when I was in collage. It has been more than two decades since my last F1.

The problem in the circuit was that no information was available during the race, because my cell phone's battery was dead and Yuto's SIM card suddenly broke. However, we were so excited with the speed, atmosphere, and sounds, not to mention F1 fans coming from all over the world.

I am looking forward to coming back to Suzuka again with my kids, maybe next year.

Koba runs like a bullet train!

Yesterday, a sport festival was held at the elementary school in my neighborhood.
My youngest son, Koba, is the 6th grader of the school and won the 100-meter sprint.

It is worth noting that his competition was the last race of the series, where the order was on a slower-run-first basis. So, he is the No.1 of the No.1 group. What an amazing achievement! No wonder he is so athletic, and really into soccer these days.

I look forward to seeing you in a soccer mach at junior high school next year.

All Apps completed

Here are my apps that are listed in a chronological order. It was my pleasure to have achieved a great feat.

It has taken one year since I started creating an apps. I cannot believe that I have created a total of eight apps, all of which are practical.

All the Japanese apps are for free, whereas the price of English apps is one dollar. My fun time is to check the number of these apps downloaded the day when I come back home after work. Although I do not intend to make a fortune by selling these apps, I am sure that I deserve what I have done.

I hope that these apps encourage young medical staff to learn about cardiology.

Summer Vacation in 2019

My summer vacation is one of the best vacations that I have ever had.
We did not have a sightseeing travel, and nothing special happened.
As you can see, however, no explanation is needed about how fun my vacation was.

I spent all my time with my family. I has been very thankful for the ordinary daily life.
I am quite excited to start my work tomorrow because, now, I am full of tons of energy!

P.S.
Someone may be surprised to see my daughter in the car, as shown in the last picture. She has just fallen asleep, as usual (not lost consciousness due to troubles). Don't worry about that. lol

I am proud of you, AYA.

My daughter got great points on the 1st exam which was performed at her high school this month. She came to the 9th in the high school where more than 300 students are learning. What an unbelievable result. I am really happy with it.

I am sure that her great points were not by sheer luck. I has seen her studying so hard for the exam. She deserves the results.

What has surprised me is her patience, as I described previously (*). She seems to be able to keep studying for a long time. It is not rare, for example, for her to focus densely on mathematics for more than three hours without taking any break.

Aya, your mom and dad are standing on your side. Do your best to make your dreams come true. Whatever your goals are, we will support you.

I Move!

My room at our house had been in the south-west corner on the second floor. There were a bed, a desk, and a chair in the room; I hardly spend times there aside from sleeping.

My wife suddenly asked me to change my room and our elder son's room. I accepted her suggestion because I had no reason to reject it. It seems like that his room can be hot because it has a bid window on the south side.

It took two hours. My son was excited, and my fife and I were happy to see him feel good.

My only concern was that I might not sleep well in the new room. It has been, however, soon proven to be a thing that I should have concerned. I am a person that I am able to fall asleep easily where I am.

In a few years, I will move again to give it to my younger son. The problem is where I should go. My plan would be to move a Japanese room, Washitsu, on the first floor, where my wife and younger son use to sleep.
